Griffiths Brothers No.2 to star in National Gin Festival

Griffiths Brothers No.2 has been chosen for a national gin festival by the country’s leading pub company.

JD Wetherspoon, the UK’s largest pub group, is staging a nationwide celebration of British and international gins and has selected Griffiths Brothers No.2 for their Spring gin festival.

“We are thrilled to be chosen by JD Wetherspoon for their 2020 festival. Our gins have won several international awards, so this is further recognition of their quality and appeal. It fills us both with a lot of pride to know that No.2 was selected from 600 potential other gin varieties” say Alex & Drew Griffiths, founders of the distillery.

The Wetherspoon Spring 2020 Gin Festival is a 17-day event showcasing 30 different gins and will be staged across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland from 14th February until 1st March.

“Our reputation in the UK spirits industry has been building ever since we launched the distillery back in 2016” explains Drew. “Being selected by the UK’s largest pub company, as one of only 30 gins for their national festival, is further evidence of our growing ambition and enhanced brand recognition.”

‘No.2’ is an export strength gin packed full of flavour. It features 13 different botanicals, including grapefruit zest, lime zest, rose petal, fennel and vanilla.

No.2 will be available from Valentine’s Day in over 750 UK pubs and reach 2 million weekly Wetherspoon customers during the period of the festival.
